Sterling Silver Mushroom Necklace

I've been meaning to make a mushroom pendant for so long now - I don't quite know why I put it off for so long, but a recent story spurred me on (I can't share that story right now, as it's a secret squirrel project, but I will...soon :)  ) Suffice to say, I will donate a percentage of each sale of the mushroom necklace and earrings, to a charity (which I can reveal next week :) throughout the month of October.

These little mushrooms are entirely hand made from sterling silver, the tiny spots are made from the teeniest balls of 999 fine silver, that I've hammered and then silver soldered to the mushroom cap, I have textured the gills by hand - I am not normally known for my patience...yet, this takes tons of it ;) :D 

I'm also not known to make smaller pendants, with only a couple in my collections, but I've made these wee, so they can be worn either alone, or as part of a layered set. It is pictured with my Boudicca chain ( a slightly larger link, as I like the contrast of small pendant with larger link chain) but is also available with the branwyn chain (smaller link) or just on its own, if you have a chain already :) 

Mushroom Size:18mm wide, 20mm tall - wee, but solid!
