I wanted to create a pendant that means just that.

This sterling silver heart is hand cut from silver sheet with my jeweller's saw. I then hand cut each leaf individually (with my very serious and concentratey face because they're so very tiny!!) and use them with sterling silver wire to create the foliage - they are then silver soldered to the heart.

The bail is sterling silver tube, cut and soldered to the heart too.

I then oxidise (age) the piece to bring out the details, and polish back to a shine.

Size, from top of bail to tip of heart: 2.6cm
