Pet Memorial Jewellery
For the ones we learned by heart
(Not just for dogs, but cats, horses, bunnies and all animals you have adored.)
Those of us who love animals, we know too well that some are so extraordinary they become woven into the fabric of our lives.
Their footsteps we knew without looking and their fur found its way into everything we owned, their little habits became part of the rhythm of our days - and oh my goodness did we love them - and still do!
Iceni Memorial Jewellery is a very personal way of remembering them.
Each piece individually handmade in silver, using carefully chosen stones to represent something of your animal.
If you have some, a tiny lock of their fur can be incorporated beneath the stone – unseen, protected and always held within the piece.
You don’t have to have fur to commission a piece – sometimes the stone itself tells their story.

Arthur, the beautiful labrador you see above and the ring I made for his Mum. A gorgeous golden rutilated teardrop quartz, set on top of a lock of his fur. Finished with a tiny citrine, the golden tones echoing his warm golden fur.
How your memorial jewellery is created
Tell me about them
Send me their name, photographs and a little about who they were. Their colouring, character, favourite places, anything you think matters.
What would you like your jewellery to be?
Pendant, bracelet, earrings, ring? Understated or something more substantial?
I find your stone.
I will always give options too!
I design your piece
Once the stone is chosen, I will send a design, and you can then ask me to tweak details if necessary. I’ll then ask you to agree the design.
Fur
If you’re choosing to have fur incorporated in your design, I’ll ask you to send me a small amount of their fur.
I then make your jewellery - and when it is done...
They come home. To you, their person.
With or without fur?
Fur isn’t necessary for me to make a piece of jewellery for your precious animal, he or she can be represented entirely through the stone and/or design only. All I need is photographs, and what you tell me about them to find the right stone.
If you do want fur incorporated in your design, I only need a tiny amount.

Two small stones chosen for two special dogs set simply in silver and worn with an existing pendant. The stone on the right is a Snowflake Obsidian, chosen because its markings in black, white and grey, matched the markings of beautiful Milo, pictured here. The other stone is a pretty, earthy Jasper stone, in memory of darling Jasper. So loved.
How much will my memorial jewellery cost?
Every memorial piece I create is individually designed, so there isn’t a single set price.
A small, simply set not rare stone will naturally cost less than a larger or rarer stone, or a piece requiring more intricate silverwork.
I know it can feel uncomfortable enquiring about something special without any idea what it might cost though, so here is a guide to help you decide whether commissioning a piece is right for you.
Design & Stone Sourcing - £50
This is the beginning of your commission, and this cost will be taken off of the price of your final piece.
I’ll then begin researching and sourcing stones especially for you, perhaps looking for a particular colour or marking, a stone connected to their name, or simply something that might capture their character.
I’ll come back to you with carefully chosen possibilities before we decide together which one will become part of your jewellery.
The £50 covers this design and sourcing work and is deducted from the final cost of your jewellery.
Once we’ve chosen your stone and agreed the design, I’ll give you the full price before making begins, so there will never be any unexpected costs.
As a general guide
Please bear in mind prices may be lower or higher, depending on the stone you choose and how long the design you would like will take me to create, some rarer stones will of course cost more, even if mounted on a small piece of silver – prices below are for guide only.)
From small, simply designed memorial pieces to larger more intricate bespoke pieces in silver with fur incorporated – from £100 - £450.
Working within your budget
I am very happy to work with your budget, so If you have a particular price-line in mind, please tell me – don’t be shy! It can actually help me search for stones and develop a design just for you.
Please note, I do not offer this jewellery for pet ashes, just fur.

The annoying grown-up bit!
Because I will be spending time sourcing/designing and consulting, the initial fee of £50 is non-refundable if you choose not to go ahead with the making of your piece. If you do choose to go ahead with the piece, the agreed full price minus the initial £50 will be due before making commences.
